“The Best of Times”
This is the best time to be alive and things just keep getting better!
Sound a little strange? Well, it’s true!
I know the news media is painting everything as gloomy. The economy is spiraling down, people are loosing their jobs, their homes, and their businesses, yet, times are actually very good.
You see, I learned a long time ago to look for the good in situations instead of dwelling on the bad…….which is what most folks do.
Ever heard the phrase “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”? You probably studied that in High School science, right?
Well it is true in more ways than just science experiments. It’s true in life as well.
Every time you are faced with a change, look for the opportunity. Don’t focus on the problem as that will only perpetuate it.
Focus on what you can do not what you can’t.
For those of you who are looking for a change, here is something to consider:

“Do You Think Your CAN?”
A friend of mine sent a video that seems to “sum up” the idea that you CAN do whatever you choose. So many times we think we are just “stuck” in a job or in life and can’t change it. This is the best we can do!
Nonsense! Nothing could be further from the truth.
I think this video speaks pretty loudly as to what you are capable of:
Now, I can truly relate to this. You see, my brother (who passed away a number of years ago) was born with this same condition. When he was born, the doctors did not know what to do for him. They said he might not live long, and, most likely would not live past his teen years. He lived to be 37.
We all have the ability to do more than we think. Now, maybe we should think a bit more.
Warmly,
